Lancaster, September 17-18

 

The ESCORT Project consortium successfully concluded a two-day meeting in Lancaster, bringing together partners to discuss project progress, evaluate ongoing work, and participate in technical sessions aimed at enhancing AI-enabled healthcare solutions.

 

The meeting featured presentations from all work packages within the ESCORT Project, focusing on:

 

  • Ensuring ethical compliance and patient safety

  • Conducting organizational reviews to improve operational readiness

  • Integrating wearable technology and IoT for real-time patient monitoring

  • Driving digital transformation across health and care services

  • Implementing population-wide health monitoring tools

  • Seamlessly incorporating ESCORT technology into existing healthcare frameworks

  • Developing training programs for ESCORT technology adoption

  • Providing strong governance and oversight to guide the project

 

These presentations led to discussions covering critical user requirements such as data privacy and protection, secure communications, and data interoperability. In-depth exchanges addressed both the functional and non-functional aspects of the project’s toolkits.

 

The consortium also reviewed progress and identified key next steps to further advance the project’s objectives. Collaboration among consortium members was essential in exploring innovative solutions and addressing several challenges.

 

As the ESCORT Project moves forward, the consortium remains focused on developing the technological infrastructure necessary to enhance healthcare delivery through cutting-edge tools and AI-enabled systems.
